Cookie notice
Below we explain which cookies we use. They fall into two groups: cookies strictly necessary to run the service, which we always set, and analytics cookies, which we set only with your consent. We use no advertising or remarketing cookies at all.
Which cookies we use
The cookies below are strictly necessary (functional) — without them sign-in and remembering your language and city would not work correctly:
| Name / kind | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Login session (NextAuth) | Keep you signed in during your session. | Duration of the login session | Strictly necessary (functional) |
| Authentication cookies (NextAuth) | Protect the sign-in flow — CSRF token and callback URL used while logging in. | Until sign-in completes | Strictly necessary (functional) |
| Language choice (next-intl) | Remember your chosen interface language. | Up to 12 months | Strictly necessary (functional) |
| City choice (gdz-city) | Remember the city picked in the switcher so the map and the Matchmaker open on the same city. Stores only a city identifier (e.g. “gdansk”). | Up to 12 months | Strictly necessary (functional) |
Analytics cookies (with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which features are used and where people run into trouble. These cookies are set ONLY after you consent — until then no request is sent to Google at all. IP addresses are anonymised and advertising signals stay switched off.
| Name / kind | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes users for visit statistics. | Up to 24 months | Optional (analytics) |
| _ga_<identifier> | Maintains Google Analytics 4 measurement session state. | Up to 24 months | Optional (analytics) |
| gdz-consent | Records your decision about analytics cookies. It is itself strictly necessary — it stores the choice so we do not have to ask again. | 12 months | Optional (analytics) |
Consent and how to withdraw it
On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept or refuse analytics cookies. Refusing takes exactly one click, the same as accepting, and the service works fully without them — you lose nothing by refusing.
You can withdraw consent at any time using the button below. Withdrawing removes not only the record of your decision but the Google Analytics cookies themselves from your device.
Consent lasts 12 months, after which we ask again. We also ask again if the categories of cookies it covered change.
Legal basis: art. 399(1) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 and GDPR art. 6(1)(a).
No advertising, no profiling
We set no advertising or remarketing cookies, share no data with ad brokers and do not profile users. Google advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) stay denied regardless of your decision.
