Greenest neighbourhoods in Białystok

Share of each Białystok neighbourhood's own area covered by greenery and water, as a percentage. Parks, forests, meadows, water and protected areas counted together, without double-counting where they overlap.

How to read this

This is a share of the neighbourhood's area, not the distance to the nearest park. A large neighbourhood with one forest at its edge ranks high even when the walk from its centre is long — a limitation of the measure, not an error in it.

More than a quarter of the area is green in 18 of 29 measured neighbourhoods.

From 68% in Dojlidy to 4% in Bojary — a 64 percentage-point range.
